Built in 1991, Tianjin Radio and Television Tower (hereafter referred to as Tianjin Tower for short), " a member of the World Federation of Great Towers. it enjoys the reputation of "sky tower revolving cloud". Standing 415.2 meters high, Tianjin Tower has two main functions: radio and television signal transmission, and sightseeing.
Tianjin Tower is located in the downtown area, close to Water Park - the largest urban park in the city. It is the 4A scenic spot in Hexi District of Tianjin, with an annual reception of about 200,000 visitors. At a height of 257 meters of this landmark building in Tianjin stands the highest library in China, which is equipped with a revolving platform to take tourists for a 50-min rotation to enjoy a panoramic view of the city.
